Extended Research Residencies at
DOE National Laboratories
The SCGSR program provides supplemental awards to U.S. graduate
students to pursue part of their graduate thesis research working side
by side with science and engineering experts at a DOE laboratory or
facility. Graduate students who are passionate about their
research in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
Biology | Chemistry | Physics | Materials Science
Engineering | Mathematics | Computer or Computational Sciences
Environmental Sciences
Join Dr. Igor Slowing, SCGSR Program Manager from U.S. Department of
Energy and Dr. Maria Taydem, Project Manager from the Oak Ridge Institute
for Science and Education for more information about the SCGSR program
and for tips on creating and submitting competitive applications.
Both workshops will include question and answer sessions.
