We invite you to participate in The Ohio State University Research Experience for Undergraduates program, BUCKEYE REU.  BUCKEYE REU will allow you to get hands-on research and professional development experience during our 10-week on-site summer research program. The opportunity is for students pursuing a STEM major, with an interest in biomechanics or mechanobiology (BMMB). This program will help you build research and professional experience that will support your pathway to graduate school! A flyer for the program is attached.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • U.S. Citizen, national or permanent resident (preference will be given to underrepresented minorities)
  • Sophomores, juniors or seniors enrolled in 4-year colleges or universities in the U.S.
  • Minimum 3.0 grade point average
  • STEM major
  • Interest in BMMB research projects as reflected in application materials

  • Clinical research and facility tours, weekly journal clubs, and workshops
  • On-campus housing and meal allowance
  • $5,000 stipend

Undergraduate Research Day April 13 2024 CALL FOR PROPOSALS

  Undergraduate Research Day applications are due   Wednesday March 6 th   2024.   CALL FOR PROPOSALS   UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH DAY will be Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.,   at the Thurman White Forum Building, 1704 Asp Avenue, University of Oklahoma.     What is URD?   • Undergraduate Research Day is an annual event for undergraduate students to present their research and creative works in a formal conference setting. OU students from all fields and disciplines are invited to participate! • Students will give presentations of 12-14 minutes in length, which can include visual or multimedia support.
