Research Opportunities

The OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center is excited to announce the addition of the new   Diversity in Cancer Research Summer Internship .     This 10-week program will allow for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors to get a deep dive into the world of a cancer-focused research lab and gain experience in presenting research findings via a poster presentation and competition. The interns will be mentored by senior faculty researchers and their laboratory staff, including graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. Apply An NSF-funded Cybermanufacturing REU Site   at Texas A&M University invites   applications from undergraduate students (rising juniors and seniors in STEM disciplines) who are strongly interested in summer research experience.  Participants will be given the opportunity to work alongside faculty and graduate student mentors in ongoing faculty research in cybermanufacturing related topics. These may include (but not limited to) developing new “Apps” for real-time applications, developing new methods and processes in manufacturing, working with innovative machines and data analytics, and investigating new design approaches.   Teams of university students participating in   NASA’s University Student Research Challenge (USRC)   can earn up to $80,000 to advance aeronautics concepts relevant to NASA Aeronautics!     The deadline for the next round of funding is   5pm Eastern Time on Feb. 24, 2022.   Three-page proposals should be submitted via   NSPIRES .   Selected in three rounds annually, USRC grants support the development of proposed projects, with additional funding coming from at least $2,000 of crowdsourced fundraising.
